You can also obtain a residence permit in the UAE by obtaining a work visa.

Work visa in the UAE

Residency in the UAE through work is one of the most common ways of immigrating to this Persian Gulf country. People can easily work in this country who have skills and expertise in one of the fields of work.

The UAE does not have strict rules for working in the country and many of its commercial areas such as Dubai. Golden visa is one of the long-term work visas in this country. This type of visa is assigned to those people who have technical and professional expertise. In this way, these people can get 2, 5 and 10 year work visas in the UAE.

In other words, this type of visa is considered a type of permanent residence in this country. But having expertise is an important condition to get a golden visa, but it is not enough.

You have to pay a fee of around 650 dirhams to get the golden UAE visa, which is 500 dirhams for issuing the visa and 150 dirhams for the application fee. You must deposit 1000 dirhams for the visa issuance fee and 150 dirhams for the application fee to the government account of this country for a 10-year visa.

Working conditions in the UAE

Working hours in Emirati companies are from 8:30 to 17:30. Some other companies in this country operate from 9:00 to 18:00 and in between they have allocated an hour for lunch and prayer.

If you work in this country through job placement, you will work an average of 47 hours a week and you will have 30 days off during the year. You will have 22 working days in each month. You will only be eligible for 15 days of pay if you go on sick leave.

Of course, the working conditions and salary depend to a large extent on the employer. It is better to get the necessary information about your working conditions before immigrating to the UAE.

Required jobs in the UAE

Every year, the UAE publishes a list of the main jobs it needs. You can easily find a job in UAE if you are in a highly professional industry.

Among the required jobs in the UAE are:

  • Mechanical engineer – salary is about 19 thousand dirhams
  • Electrical engineer – salary is about 10 thousand dirhams
  • Chemical engineer- salary is about 20 thousand dirhams
  • Jobs related to programming and website- salary is between 10 thousand and 20 thousand dirhams
  • All fields of medicine and surgery
  • Journalism (you must be fluent in Arabic or English)
  • Sales manager and e-commerce expert with more than 5 years of experience
  • Digital marketing and marketing jobs with more than 5 years of experience
  • clothing design jobs with 5 years of experience

In the end, it should be mentioned that in order to succeed in finding a job and obtaining a residence permit in the UAE, you must have a high degree of expertise in a specific field. Otherwise you will face problems in obtaining a work visa for the UAE.
