Chardonnay made by Barbaresco producer, Moccagatta in the Langhe region of Piedmont. There seems to be a fascination in this region by the Chardonnay of Burgundy this one comes across as a linear, minerally Chablis. The Minuto brothers Sergio and Franco established the estate in the 1950s, naming it "Moccagatta" for the land's historical name.
